All of our diagnostic Hormone Panels monitor hormone levels using a 24-hour urine collection method which, unlike the blood or saliva collection methods used by other clinics or physicians, captures a true picture of your hormone levels for an entire day.  Think about it, hormones aren't released evenly during the course of a day or night, so how can a one time blood test snap-shot give you any kind of accurate information to guide your treatment? When blood is used to measure hormone levels you are only receiving your levels at the exact moment of the blood draw and hormones fluctuate wildly so, we believe, that 24-hr urine collections provide the most accurate picture of your hormone levels.
