Nutritional & Cardiovascular Testing

The Nutritional Panel Lab uses patented technology to measure your true Cellular Nutrition Levels, not just the short-term levels of nutrients found through a typical blood test.  This "cellular level" analysis measures your body’s ongoing ability to absorb and utilize essential nutrients.  Your Total Antioxidant Function is also measured and this shows how your body is handling oxidative stress, a major cause of disease and aging. The Nutritional test isolates out your white blood cells (lymphocytes), which live in your body for as long as six months, and measures the nutritional levels in these cells.  This provides your true cellular-level nutritional uptake over the last 6 months (not just what happens to be floating around in your blood stream at the time blood was drawn).  There is overwhelming evidence confirming that nutrient deficiencies have a direct impact on your susceptibility to many conditions including: cancer (Vitamin D), fatigue (Vitamin B12), neurological disorders and dementia (magnesium, copper, folate, etc), and others.  If you are taking vitamins, minerals, amino acids or antioxidants now, it is imperative you know that they are actually being absorbed at the cellular level, which becomes more difficult as we age.  If you are not taking any supplementation, this test will tell you what your body needs.

SpectraCell Comprehensive Lipoprotein Particle Panel

The Lipoprotein Particle Panel test is the most advanced lipoprotein test currently available. Unlike traditional cholesterol tests, The LPP Plus directly measures both the size and number of several classes of lipoprotein particles, including critical risk factors as cited by the National Cholesterol Education Program, and gives a truly complete and accurate assessment of your cardiovascular risk.  This test is a much more accurate predictor of cardiovascular diseases such as heart attack and stroke than the typical tests most doctors order.  In addition, Homocysteine and High Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein are checked and these provide a measure of the inflammatory response in your body, which is an often-unrecognized cause of debilitating cardiovascular diseases.
