Paul J. Battle is one of Boulder Longevity Institute’s top clinicians. With over 25 years in practice as a certified physician assistant covering multiple specialty areas including: internal medicine, family practice, emergency medicine, general and vascular surgery, and orthopedics, Paul is particularly qualified to offer the comprehensive and personalized medicine unique to Boulder Longevity Institute.
Prior to joining BLI Paul was instrumental in the creation and founding of two orthopedic services at both a VA medical center and a large HMO. He served as the PA house officer for the award winning orthopedic service at St Joseph's Hospital and was selected Affiliate Staff Member of the year at an HMO facility serving over 350,000 patients. Paul has served as an EMT instructor and lecturer, provided medical support at the Goodwill Games, participated in a medical/surgical mission for the poor of Mexico providing surgical and other community services, and created a medical support program for Broomfield youth football directed at improving player safety.
In addition to his duties at BLI, Paul is currently an orthopedic PA in private practice assisting with all aspects of orthopedic care with special interest in hormone deficiencies in how they relate to pain syndromes and age related processes like osteoporosis. He also acts as a consultant to a communications software company where he helped design key elements of an internet-based system that allows nursing home residents and their family members to better share information and status.
Paul’s stated objective as he serves BLI clients is to give them the rare opportunity to implement a personalized nutritional, physical, and hormone supplementation program that can enhance their body's ability to manage age related disorders. He strives to help clients with problems such as cancer prevention, osteoporosis, fatigue, dementia, sexual health, diminishing immune system function, and more, by changing a person’s physiology to prevent disease, rather than the more traditional course of treating disease. Paul believes that working together he can help BLI clients feel more energetic, stronger and show them how they can begin to optimize their quality of life.
Paul has a BS in Medicine and PA training from Emory University School of Medicine, in Atlanta, Georgia and a BS in Physiology from the University of California-Davis, in Davis, California. Paul is also a member of the American Academy of Anti Aging Medicine (A4M).
